Dar religionistické literatury

V červnu 2017 Národní knihovna přijala darem několik stovek knih od Knihovny Filozofické fakulty UK. Ty původně pocházely od českého lékaře Jiřího Tilšera, který po únorovém komunistickém převzetí moci emigroval do Kanady, roku 2014 se vrátil do Prahy, kde následujícího roku ve věku 89 let zemřel. Často pobýval v indických buddhistických klášterech, a jeho zanícení pro danou problematiku se odrazilo i v tom, že shromáždil obsáhlou anglicky psanou sbírku především orientalistické religionistické literatury (tibetský buddhismu, džinismus, hinduismus). Z kolekce, která byla roku 2014 předána Filozofické fakultě UK, vybral dr. Jan Lukavec knihy, které by pro fondy NK měly představovat největší přínos. Některé z nich se zabývají například aplikovatelností východních nauk v soudobé západní psychologii a psychoterapii, další přibližují kulturní a duchovní dědictví kanadských indiánů.
