The Baroque Library by Tom Mairs
Illustrator Tom Mairs included a picture of the Klementinum baroque library in his book called Prague Aquarelles.
The book will be a collection of painted scenes from Prague that range from the very famous to the mundane, as he wrote in his request for the permission to paint the Baroque Library Hall, and he added that the Klementinum is such a unique and important landmark that he would love to include it in the book.
Thanks to a kind cooperation with staff of Prague City Tourism, he painted the hall in two sessions and we can admire his work below.
The whole book will be published by Les éditions du pacifique.
